Website for Turnfront

Chris at Turnfront needed a design that was a bit different from your average agency site...

Launch date: December 2009 Required skills: Photoshop, Illustrator, Hand drawing

What was needed

Turnfront are a different kind of agency, and the design had to reflect that, giving a professional feel for credibility in the non-profit world, whilst being outspoken enough not to alienate Chris's activist audience.

What we did

The thing we enjoy about working with Turnfront is the level of freedom we get, giving us the ability to play with ideas that are a little bit riskier than normal... this leads to bold designs with impact!

Stay tuned for a live version of this site... it's still being pieced together at fortress Turnfront!

A low impact future

Tuesday 15th September 2009

I've been thinking quite a lot recently about alternative models of low impact living, because as some of you may have heard, we kind of need to do something radical to live within our means. On this subject I thought I'd share a link I received from an anonymous informer about an art project in New York. The Waterpod is an experiment in nomadic, self sufficient, mobile living. Imagine half Waterworld, half Eden Project - but kinda better!

Hello

Hi there!

Thursday 20th August 2009

So, after a lot of hours spent designing and building, and re-designing and re-building the re-design of this site, it's eventually live! Designers really are always the worst clients, especially when it's your own site!
